Polyurethane (PU) is a versatile polymer made from polyols and isocyanates.
It can be soft like foam, flexible like rubber, or hard like plastic.

Properties

• High wear & abrasion resistance
• Strong, elastic, and flexible
• Resistant to oils, greases, ozone
• Works in –30 °C to +80 °C (special grades higher)
• Wide hardness range (soft → rigid)
