Spring Energized Lip Seal
A spring-energized lip seal is a type of high-performance sealing device designed for demanding applications where standard elastomer (rubber) seals are not effective.
It combines a polymer sealing lip (usually made of PTFE, PEEK, or PCTFE) with a metal spring that provides continuous pressure against the sealing surface.
